Angela Black Hedegard is highly personable, approachable and with a background ideally suited to the successful resolution of personal and commercial disputes.
Involved in mediations both as a mediator and legal representative since 1998, her experience and expertise includes clinical negligence, personal injury (including abuse claims), professional indemnity, charities, housing and general insurance claims.
Angela has a particular interest in clinical disputes having worked for several years representing clinicians and the NHS, followed by a period acting for victims of medical accidents: she therefore has considerable experience of both sides to the clinical negligence dispute and the legal and practical issues of relevance to each.
As a solicitor, Angela deals with civil actions against the police and local authority claims. Her experience includes residential care, social services, false imprisonment (in custody and mental healthcare institutions) and abuse claims.
